True but this makes sense at the end of the day. I remember back when the covid lounge reopening thread was hyperactive people were pretty certain that they'd stick to their date and for the most part they did. But for LAX it never made sense to me as they currently have only SYD (and MEL??) which is very restrictive, TYO which is also very restrictive. The only route that would bring enough people would be LAX-LHR and even then that's enough to fill the lounge for 2 hours in the day so it never made sense to me that UA would want to reopen the lounge so soon even with connecting traffic.
