Hi all,

Realizing after looking over this thread that the CUR portal is a complete mess. I (foolishly) booked an AA "refundable" ticket on the portal. I'm trying to cancel the flight now - CUR is telling me the cancellation fee exceeds the value of the ticket. What??? But...I can change without penalty and unfortunately, would lose the fare difference if settled in my favor. What do I do in this scenario? CUR seems to clearly be making up fare rules that don't exist in the fine print. My only alternative seems to be call AA and plead for them to take over the ticket - even if I have to pay their fee.
