This evening my mom tried to use a kiosk at VIE on an OS flight to GVA. She had an e-ticket, but is not a M/M member.

She inserted a credit card, but the kiosk wasn't able to search flights for pax names the way most airlines' kiosks do and she had to queue for an agent. On LX for example, you can insert a credit card (not necessarily the one you used to pay for your flight) and the kiosk will find your booking and spit out the correct boarding pass.

The lack of such a function would also be a problem should your M/M nr. not be attached to your reservation, even if you were a member.

My question: is this an OS-specific problem or is this also the case with LH kiosks?
