Filed with just AG office. Received check from BHN within a month of filing. Wouldn’t hurt to file with both AG n CFPB I guess. I’ve learned from other sites that AG office filing is faster.

In early-Dec 2021 I purchased 3 cards (500/ea) in Safeway. I registered all cards right after purchase. However after 30 mins when I tried to drain them in the store, all three cards have the magnet stripe issue which totally can not be used in any store. I requested the replaced card and it took more than a month to receive them. Unfortunately when I tried to activate all cards with my name on it, every single card has zero balance. I was so pissed. Then I was told the cards were used up after Xmas. It ends up I have to file the report by submitting doc and wait for up to 91 days investigation to get the money back.
