If the mystical memo was wrong, so be it. But getting an email saying my request has been taken care of, if the answer was there was nothing to be done, seems wrong.
It’s over a year old article and that’s never been Hyatt’s policy. Just asked Hyatt Concierge via Twitter and they also confirmed any stay bridging years is counted based on the
checkout date. Not sure where you heard about this “memo” as it’s not even mentioned in the article.
Many people have tried over the years to get manual adjustments counting credits towards the prior year and it’s never happened.
