I'm curious if anyone has suggestions what I should do next.
I was one night short of Explorist for 2022.
I had a 2 night stay from December 31-January 2.
Based on information I found online, I should have been able to call Hyatt and have them retroactively break up the stay and give me the one night that would push me over.
A few days after the stay, I called, the agent said I was right, said she was reading a memo about it, and that she did what was necessary and I should see my account update in a few days.
After a week, I saw no change. This time, I tried the web chat support feature, which brusquely told me that "all crossover stay inquiries must be directed to
[email protected].". Ok, so I sent an email.
Then, on January 15, I got an email from Hyatt that said "Your request is complete.
We’re sending a note to confirm your request was received and it’s been taken care of. We’re glad we could help you." No further information.
It is now 5 days later. No update to my account, no further information. Is this just never going to happen? Do I wait more? Do I give up since Explorist isn't that great an improvement from Discoverist anyway?;
