I'm not sure why Marriott would be providing travel managers with home addresses of their employees? But yes, I don't think that it's controversial that hotel brands with agreements with major corporations provide reports of travel. If the company doesn't operate travel through a dedicated portal (e.g. AMEX) or outsourced provider, using the Marriott provided is a reasonably effective way of keeping track of things.
