But also, companies like that - I avoid them.
Eons ago, A GM posted the reason why some companies don't allow personal travel is because overuse of the company discount can have a negative effect on the hotel's revenue as it means too many rooms are being sold at the discounted rate and surprisingly depending on the specifics of the discount rate contract, especially if with a specific hotel, may actually decrease the company's bargaining power.
