Hilton Points Transfer Issues

Hello. I hope my experiences can help whomever is dealing with the issue of not being able to transfer Hilton Honors points from one account to another. First of all, do NOT use Safari !! There is something in Safari that will block this. When I switched to Chrome it made a world of difference. Once you use chrome (or possibly another browser), make sure you receive an email confirmation that the transfer was initiated. If you do not receive this after maybe 1 hour, try again. Once you receive this email confirmation it should take 24-48 hours for the points to be transferred. In my experience it was 24. As a side note, I did a transfer once on my phone instead of a laptop and the points transferred right away. I don't know if this was a co-incidence or not.

The system is definitely wonky. I did call at one point and speak with an agent who was not at all helpful and opened a case. Not sure if that would have done anything, fortunately I was able to figure it out on my own.

I love Hilton Honors, but it is very disappointing that a company this size would allow such glitches in their system. Hopefully they will address this in the future.
