Our company has a hotel directory, and each hotel listing includes a Y/N as to eligible for personal travel. But I expect that only applies if you try calling the hotel to get the rate.

If you have the code, I expect nobody will be the wiser. The great majority of hotels do allow personal travel, but our company is a government contractor so almost all of our rates are GSA per diem or below. So not a whole lot of high end properties on the list.

The company codes formerly were included on our itineraries years ago (so I have them), but are no longer visible to employees. Well, except through google.
