My cat just celebrated its third birthday. Should I expect an upgrade when I fly next week on EK ??

Why in the world would someone on their honeymoon expect a free upgrade? Granted, some airlines and hotels might do this, but on the other hand, why not pay for these nice things like the rest of us. Does simply getting hitched qualify one for free hotel suites and airline upgrades?

This reminds me of the fat talk show host Star Jones who got married yesterday. Continental Airlines sponsored and paid for her entire wedding. Her wedding could be written off 100% as a business expense. Her wedding was an embarassing display of greed. Not only did she marry a gay guy, at least those are the strong rumors, but she had a corporate sponsor !!!!! Outrageous.
