Started googling it, and after coming across some alarming stories about a Summer 2021 FAA directive regarding 7M8 venting and cargo fire hazards (https://www.cnbc.com/amp/2021/08/05/...ion-issue.html - not really clear what came of that in the end), found similar complaints about the 739 dating back to 2018 - although those seem to be linked with it being a bigger aircraft. Apparently Boeing tried to address that by making the nozzles smaller - increase the pressure of the air coming out. Maybe it’s a legacy “small” nozzle issue?

That aside, this aircraft / config really is one of the worst around.
