Agree Swiss side cars are normally much more expensive than French side. Really crazy weekend prices this winter season on both sides however. Beyond the lack of a Swiss highway sticker, another major issue is that French side cars mostly come with just summer tires, occasionally all season, whereas Swiss side cars must by law have winter tires or at least all season. For Chamonix weekends I try to avoid French side cars in deep winter.
