Bank of America Dispute Resolution

This story has been making the rounds the past few days.

Woman got charged $10K for 1-mile cab ride in S.F. Then things got even more outrageous (msn.com)

In short, a cab driver fat fingered the entry and a woman was charged $9,875 for a cab ride that should have been $9.87. But what is particularly surprising is that she disputed the charge with Bank of America and the bank sided with the merchant (until the media got involved, it sounds like), which seems particularly ridiculous because logically it would seem pretty clear that in almost no situation would a cab ride ever cost $10,000.

I've actually never initiated a dispute with BofA, so I'm curious what experiences other people have had, particularly compared to Amex or Chase. The one issuer I have been reading terrible reports of online is Goldman on the Apple Card, where even basic disputes that should clearly be in the consumer's favor (i.e. fraud charges) are sometimes being rejected.
