Everyone agrees that those two acts are offensive. Not everyone agrees that saving a seat, within reason, is offensive.
Social norms are not left behind at the gate. SWA’s open seating policy does not temporarily remove social norms. Piss poor social behavior under the disguise of open-seating policy is laughable.
