It's true! I'm not a very big guy, and even I thought the washroom in the back was way too small! The sink is also tiny.

No, nothing like that. Apparently Boeing got complaints about how strong/cold the vents were on the 787, so when they designed the system on the MAX, instead of just saying "so don't open them full blast, you idiots", or making something similar to the 737NG, they put in a completely useless system.
For real? I love having the vents on the 787 blowing down on my face on AC tpac flights. It was so perfect compared to the Max.
