Thanks for the info. The debit card is a good idea because it eliminates the need to get cash. I would think the gebit would technically work, but wouldn't they want to check your name on the card?
So once I get the green dot, how hard is it to get rid of? Could I buy a MO with it? I assume I could pay an online bill with it. What's the activation process like? It srill seems like this could be a worthwhile, relatively easy transaction to avoid paying full price for gas.
