This is so frustrating. I have a flight out of SFO February 18th so I have more time to prepare, but can't imagine this. You should definitely call the center ASAP to get your flight refunded to you. Seems like it may not be automatic according to the text of the Emirates announcement? (please let us know if your booking was automatically cancelled and points/money refunded).

If you can't get through the call center today/tomorrow (and can't get a new flight from the other U.S. locations), I would just pay the cheapest cash rate to get to DXB on another airline still flying out. It sucks, but you don't want to ruin your vacation.
