I might be too dense or inexperienced to understand the terminology. My travel has to be booked through work and I'm only able to book Main Cabin tickets. During 2021 I was able to upgrade (with out of pocket or Skymiles) and I got the extra dollars and accelerator bonuses. Are you saying that unless the accelerator bonuses are reinstated, I won't get the 1.5x (I think that's a bonus) for FC fares? Is there a way to upfare vs. upgrade using the website?
