The EMD was issued on August 26, 2020 and was a "Transportation Credit Voucher", so the validity should have been 2 years from date of issuance if I'm not wrong....
Calling QR is not my most favorite thing to do.... yay
I was actually running into this as weel just yesterday. EMD issued in May '20. Tried to use online and got an error. Called QR this morning and the lady on the line confirmed that my voucher was stil valid but online booking wouldn't work. She offered to help me with the booking right away and my booking was made in 20 minutes from the start of the call. Issueing wil take up to 48h + an new EMD for the unused value of the voucher. My call was picked up straight aways as well.
