I use whatever airline app I used to book the flight. You could use AM app if you booked on DL but it doesn't matter esp when you are scanning your pass to get on the plane. Im silver so I am the last to get upgraded and I don't find out till I am at the gate just before boarding. Only Plat and Diamond are upgraded days before. I don't know about gold though. Although I should look at their benies since it looks like I might make it by the end of the year or sooner if the other countries grow a pair and stop their foolishness.
