Just putting in a plug for the Intercontinental - I've never been to the Hilton but we had a wonderful time spending the last night of our honeymoon at the IC a couple of years ago. One trick I found is that if you buy IC Ambassador status, they automatically give you a 1-category upgrade. The category right below OWB is significantly cheaper (~$300), so just book it and enjoy the OWB. The lobby of the IC is at the highest point on the property and has a great view overlooking the property with Moorea in the background - one of the best lobby views I've seen.
