I was absolutely fine with keeping Singapore (and Asian countries in general) closed and keeping a zero-covid strategy running till the vaccinations became widely available.
But since then, keeping a country closed (and yes, even with VTL it's essentially closed) just doesn't make anymore sense. Especially now with Omicron spreading fast worldwide - and there is no way to stop it unless you essentially shut down the country 100% - it's a total joke that will only let the people suffer.
