Not anymore. Since Omicron has swept the world, and many people are testing positive with no symptoms or very mild symptoms, Covac Global has updated its policy. Now you need:
- a positive test
- at least one symptom
- it must be "medically necessary" to return you home to receive proper care (in Covac's sole discretion)
... meaning that they won't transport you if you are healthy enough, and local care is sufficient, for you to wait out your isolation period in the foreign country.... - which defeats the whole purpose of having the coverage!

Previously the company would transport a member positive for COVID-19 and displaying just one symptom, even if it was an extremely mild case; now the member will have to demonstrate “medical necessity,” presumably a much more serious case that Covac Global deems cannot be treated effectively in the country the member has traveled to, in order to be transported back to the U.S.
