Now that I have the card, I poked around the Ultimate Rewards page and it doesn't look like there's a way to transfer points to another Chase card or to travel partners.
If I go to ultimaterewardspoints.chase.com/home/ on my Chase Ink Plus, there are options to combine points or transfer to travel partners. Both of these options are missing on the Chase ink Premier.
If I go to the Combine Points screen from my Chase Ink Plus, it does give me the options to transfer points TO my Ink Premier, but not FROM my Ink Premier. Furthermore, there's a disclaimer at the bottom of the screen that clearly reads that UR points can't be moved from the Ink Premier to another Chase card. (screenshot attached)
All told, it's not a strong card. I will still continue to prefer other cards over this one to the extent that my credit line allows. The main advantage of having this card is that Chase gave me a huge credit line, and there have been cases in the past that my favored business cards (BofA Unlimited Rewards, BofA Travel Rewards) have been totally maxed out. If you are a smaller player I can see why the AmEx BBP would be good as well, but I find the 50k limit on premium earnings to be way too low.
