Funny how opinions differ on the meal change. To me, the switch to lunch on SQ 26 (FRA-JFK) is a definite upgrade, as the lunch now includes satay and caviar. Even at 8:30am, I'd rather have a lunch service than breakfast when in F/Suites. I don't mind that the pre-arrival meal is just a refreshment--that's what LH does on this route and whenever I fly TATL in F to the US East Coast, I am never hungry enough to eat a second full meal.
