It's not a "gotcha game". It is what is in the COC. My winter parka when flying into upstate New York that I packed? Absolutely necessary in this winter storm. The gifts? Yes, these were dress clothes for work. I admit I should have made this clear; I'm not filing for toys or books or games. But yes, for customers who lose their things overnight or longer, Delta DOES have a very specific policy for this.
