I see. I guess whether/not the checkout time designation on the app means anything is sort of a ymmv thing.
Used to be that, until ~2yrs ago, I would ask about the 2pm checkout at the time of check-in and the consistent answer was a yes. I was just a Discoverist back then.
These days, a lot of times you ask at the time of check-in and they tell you to check back the morning of.
