Confused by the estimated total of a 1-way rental

Hi,

I'm planning on renting a car with Hertz 1-way. Using the CDP from my employer, I get a charge per mile "0 miles included ($0.29 each extra mile)", which is fine. I'm trying to figure out if it's worth using my employer's code or not.

When I look at the estimated total, it doesn't add up. Is it estimating the miles I'll do and including it in the total? Or would the miles be on top of estimated total? If the former, why would it be "charged at pickup"?

330.00 + 197.26 + 81.83 = 609.09 != 1,215.48

(I can't upload images directly since I'm too new here)

If I calculate the miles "included" in that price (1215.48-609.09) / .29 = 2,091, which is quite a round number.

Does anyone have experience with this?

Thanks!
