Also, has SQ 26 FRA-JFK been changed from a breakfast service to a lunch service? Current/recent menus on the SQ website look like that's the case! If so, that makes me very happy--both because the lunch meal is more substantial and because this means satay and caviar. Let's hope this sticks.

It actually looks like the meal service on FRA-JFK has been downgraded — pre-covid it used to be "brunch" after takeoff in all cabins (i.e. a mix of breakfast and lunch entrees) followed by a "light lunch" prior to arrival (which comes with full-sized entrees, but no satay in F/J), so you'd basically get two full meals. But now it's lunch after departure (with satay) but "refreshment" prior to arrival, so no longer a full second meal — the refreshment in F is noodles or sandwich, while in J it's noodles or shrimp "quesadilla" (which sounds terrifying), and sandwiches in PY/Y
