So just got back from the official test and it came back positive also. My wife and in-law's are negative however, so thats one good thing.

Rules in Belize when you test positive on your departure testing thats required to enter the USA - Quarantine for 5 days (the clock starts the next day) then retest and you can leave if its negative

So for me, I get to move to another hotel, spend 5 days hanging out in my room and then get retested and if its good, I can leave to come home.
