If I book a QR flight via a TA (CapitalOne portal/Hopper), does that prevent me from getting cash upgrade offers?

As for the above poster asking "it is worth it?", a better question for the community is probably "is it a good deal?". To me, the later question asks where the offer price falls within the range of past offers for that route. A question that can be answered based on statistics vs personal choice.
