I agree with bensyd that the gates are opening. Here in Australia we have gone from (very successful) suppression psych to now letting it rip. This was a door we opened that can not be closed now. And we are both sick of border closures and need the tourism. As Mwenenzi says though, it is an ever-changing situation. Any government that can predict six-months into the future with Covid should be guiding the world! Covid is the gift that just keeps on giving. If, God forbid, some new virulent and lethal strain emerges from the cooking pot of Africa (or Switzerland - just to be unbiased ), then all bets are off and any government may suddenly close borders again. But I really think that unlikely now.
