Hi,

This is in response to the SPG and 10,000 airline mile promotion. I've done my 3 stays with choice of earning AA miles, but have not seen the 500 points Plat amenity posted at all. My subsequent SPG point earning stays at the same hotel have already posted.

On one occasion I asked the front disk guy at Westin LAX if I'd still get the Plat Amenity points if I choose airline miles for my stay and he told me yes, I'd get both.

Did anyone else here have similar experiences? Should I have picked the other amenities instead so at least I would have gotten a beer out of it?
