We've been checking regularly, but our concern is that the return flight only has 2 seats left in PE.

So if we book 2 seats in main cabin in the outbound fligh and the 2 PE seats in our return flight, will we be able to upgrade to the PE seats when they become available?

We just want the 2 seats on the side. The only other option is to book with Iberia that has the 2-4-2. We have not flown with them.
