Yet groups are rarely enforced. Defeats the purpose. Should just send people below the current Group to the back of the queue instead of letting them board.
Also I've noticed that only rare pax have status at all. I see their boarding passes when sitting in J cabin and they pass me, no one ever has status printout on the boarding pass. Lots of points going wasted... Also sneak peaks at the crew handheld device seat map shows a sea of blue seats.
On this note, regarding priority queues at check-in in a German outstation which has had similar problems before too. It happened recently that there was of course a problematic unprepared pax with problems in their covid documentation in the priority queue. So the entire priority stands by while two agents together try to figure it out. Then the priority queue agent just idly waits till the supervisor is figuring it out. She could have resumed taking from the priority queue and the supervisor take the problem pax aside, but no. All the while the economy queue is flowing and they never call from the priority queue which is stuck.
