If you are connecting to DL112 to FCO (Rome) as of now it will be departing from A. DL is expanding their TATL presence out of BOS and in peak summer they are anticipated to pivot their A330 flights to E, so keep your eyes peeled for info closer to the trip! As for bags, I am BOS-based but I am 99.9% sure they are checked through.
