I know that some love Southwest Airlines, but in my view, they are amongst the lowest of the low.

1. They cancelled my flights from Miami with very little notice.

2. They provided no notification. I had to find out by logging in myself.

3. Horrible safety protocols. Despite raging covid, they lined up passengers with virtually no distancing to race aboard and grab seats as fast as possible. Because the flight was full, passengers were "swimming upstream", fighting their way against the flow while fighting for a seat.

4. It's possible that I contracted covid due to their delays.

5. They refuse to reimburse reasonable out-of-pocket expenses related to their cancellations.

6. 45 minute wait for baggage. SW had 2 carousels in San Diego. They had 4 flights on one carousel and 1 on another. Put 2 flights ahead of ours in terms of baggage delivery (even though we arrived first) and even said that they might move our baggage delivery to the empty carousel, but did not do so.

7. Due to Southwest's inept baggage delivery, frustrated passengers awaiting their baggage, stood shoulder-to-shoulder during a global pandemic, without social distancing (baggage claim was packed), putting every passenger at risk.

Shame on Southwest Airlines. I have vouchers that I'll probably never use (1 year expiration), but I've never had a more disappointing and dangerous experience with any other airline.
