Not really a problem with a Nov reset.

Personally I wouldn't book any BAH trip within 60 days of my tier point reset date, if I was relying on the double TPs for status
The TandCs of the promotion suggest that they are supposed to be backdated to the original flight date:
5. Standard Tier Points for the flight element will be awarded in line with regular awarding timelines after completion of the return flight which is part of a Qualifying Booking. The initial transaction will be updated when the Bonus Tier Points are added to the standard Tier Points, within 30 days of the return flight which is part of a Qualifying Booking.
I would have thought that, if a status upgrade was at stake, a claim to have the bonus credited at the time of the flight would be in order.
