There is some free on-street parking in residential neighborhoods in the area. The closest would be several blocks north of the hotel. On a summer day or a busy weekend, it might be further away before you find an available space.

Still that is closer than any on-street parking near the Hilton Waterfront, which is a pretty decent hike from any free parking.
