I know people of Germanic descent are particular about rules. But also usually very reasonable and pragmatic. If N95 are ok substitutes, then I"m OK.
N95 is the same thing as FFP2, it's just a different designation. Thus it's compliant with rules. Also, no one is going around reading labels on masks - if it looks like FFP2, it's accepted.
