Yeah, when this has happened (or when there's been an actual schedule change that's eligible for a rebooking) I've just DM'd the AA Twitter account. Within 24 hours I usually get a response, and they've accommodated reasonable requests for flight changes due to a schedule change IMO, though they aren't overly lenient (on a schedule change that only really impacted one direction they only let me change the impacted direction, not both directions.) Time to resolution is probably longer than calling, but if it's a few weeks or months out I much prefer using Twitter DM as I can type out a message with all the details and go on with my day instead of waiting on hold or hoping to time the callback correctly.
