Many if not most MC issuers ended the cell phone protections at the start of the year. The CFF was one of the few that hadn't announced the discontinuation. A person I know was told last night when they went to make a claim that the CFF no longer had the benefit.
I'm doing some digging on this, I suspect it's true. Odd that Chase would still list the benefit online. Time to switch my PP Key to a different card.
