So I made a couple bookings back in August for a trip I have coming this March. At the time I did not have a Hertz Gold Plus # and did not add it to the reservation. Made it on Priceline. Since then I am now a Presidents Circle Gold Plus Member through Capital One and would like to add it to my account.



I called Hertz and they said I would have to cancel my booking and then make a new reservation, rates are now over $250 more. Seems ridiculous. We went back and forth a bit but in the end I was unable to add my #.



Rep did say I should be able to add my number at the counter when picking car up, in Spain, and will then receive my PC benefits. Somehow I am not convinced this will be the case, not to mention I would not be able to take advantage of the benefit of not waiting in line and just picking up a car.



Any thoughts or ideas to get this added to my account, or am I SOL.
