Back in 2018/19 a major lounge change project was being investigated but it was then parked as it was colliding with the "Heathrow Plus" programme (the project to bring T5 capacity beyond the 36m passengers/year limit). Now, with Covid and Brexit, I doubt anything like that will be required for a while.
