So, would i get any checked luggage travelling on HBO long haul fare or not?
On a BA operated flight you booked on a long haul HBO fare you get no checked bag allowance at all. This applies even for status passengers I am afraid. I guess the reference post perhaps doesn't include the caveat that it doesn't apply to HBO fares.
