My wife and I are currently booked on BA0173 LHR-JFK next month travelling in WT, on what will be our first long haul holiday! Since making the booking, we have found out we are expecting our first child, so I'm eager for my wife and bump to be as comfy as possible.

We are flying on a 77H and I have managed to book twin seats on row 51, which I suppose is slightly better than having to bother other pax to get out of our seats etc.? Money is very tight for us at the moment (mainly down to my business becoming pretty much non-existent, but that's a story for a different day!)

My question(s) is, would it be worth finding the money to possibly upgrade to WTP for a bit more room/comfort for my wife? Are the differences between the classes worth the upgrade? And finally, roughly how much would the cost be to make the upgrade?
You can find out the upgrade price by logging in to Manage Booking. Just select Upgrade with Money and it will show you the prices on the following screen. That's the best way to check the price for your specific flight.

Whether it's worth it for what is really a short transatlantic flight is up to you. You have a pair of seats so you'll be on your own anyway. The main meal dish in World Traveller Plus is a selection from Club World, but otherwise the on board service is the same as economy, though you do get a welcome drink of juice or water (no Champagne at the moment). In WTP you'll still have a pair of seats, just with a few more inches of legroom. Check the price and decide if a few inches of legroom, a glass of water or orange juice and the main meal dish of the meal being from Club is worth that price for 8 hours
