Was on UA 1069 LAX-ORD last night/this morning. They had to swap a 788 in for a Diamond 789. About 15 first class passengers (all of whom had been upgraded, and mostly Silvers since many lined up in Group 2) were involuntarily downgraded and offered $1,000 in future flight credit. People seemed pleased - even happy - since most had booked Y to begin with.

Of note, I was one of three 1Ks on the flight. All of us accommodated in F.
