Last minute trip. A friend and I are driving into Canada in 9 business days (Leaving home evening of Jan 21) My passport expired June 2018, his May 2021. We live near Pittsburgh. It is my understanding that we have to make an appointment with the Philadelphia passport agency for a renewal. The appoint has to be within 5 days of travel (Jan 14-20) and we must both drive to Philadelphia for this appointment.. Or we can pay an expediting courier service $550 fee + government fees (all costs are per person) and we do not have to travel to Philadelphia. Does anyone know any other options? Thanks!
