I suppose if you were doing this the morning before your flight it might make it attractive (with an 'at least the day before' covid test, doing it the same day would apparently give you a test valid for two days, in case your flight was cancelled). FWIW my eMed/Abbott login said I just needed the test the day before, not a 24 hour or less test, so I could have tested sooner).

Totally agree. It also speeds up the process at the counter. The priority line has been taking forever due to document checks.
